Hey, what happened to your hand?
I got into a fight with Little Jon

Thank you all for the well-wishes and support. In the days leading up to it, I was really stressing it because I did not want to not reach my goal.
This morning I feel surprisingly good. I'm even listening to real music (fittingly, the first two songs to pop up today were "Losing My Religion" and "Blashemous Rumours") The song has yet to pop into my head, although I suspect that at some point today, it will. I've driven Phil into the mountains, having defeated his most battled hardened troops, but, like any conquering force, I expect periodic and devestating attacks.
All said it done, I listened to it 94 times in total. 79 in my office, 11 in my car and 4 at home. I forgot to look at the time when I stopped but it was close to, if not over, 9 hours.
Again, thanks for the support and for RVA for thinking this whole twisted, demented and sickening concept up.

Believe me when I say this: We're in England on THE slowest dial-up service in the world.
So slow that I had disabled pictures in IE.
Realising that FG had done a photo diary of the end of his 'thon, MK & I opened one picture at a time. We were just laughing so hard with each one that materialised slowly.
Thank you FG for a job well done

I just read through this whole thread from start to finish, and felt the need to bring to the fore one of my favourite images of all time. Again, a brilliant job mate.

It'd be the perfect detox procedure. Or not.

Am I the only one who isn't bothered by Phil Collins? Sure he does a lot of boring songs but he's just not that offensive to me.
Nah, he doesn't irritate me, but I
do
see why he bothers people. Personally when I saw him maybe in the early 90s it was really to see his back-up band (which was basically Clapton's band as well). Nathan East & Greg Phillinganes - both great session players!
I really started to hate him when I was about 11 or 12. Both Sides was a huge hit at the time for some inexplicable reason. Ace of Base, All 4 One, and Phil Collins were somehow the most popular musical acts among my 6th grade classmates. Ace of Base was at least somewhat understandable, because it was classic eat it up with a spoon pop music, but Phil motherfucking Collins?
My musical tastes didnt become fully refined for another 9 or 10 years, but I still knew the musical equivalent of rancid eskimo shit when I heard it, and that was Phil Collins and "Ev-er-y-day."
I honestly remember at the time seeing pictures of this old, bald, lame guy and wondering why on earth my peers chose to identify with his music. This was also around the same time that I joined BMG music club the first of about 5 times. My first selections: Dookie, The Chronic, DoggyStyle, Regulate/G Funk Era, and the Above the Rim Soundtrack
Choke on a 23 inch grizzly bear cock covered in festering sores, PhilColl!

Congratulation FG! Damn good thing I wasnt around when this was transpiring, or you wouldve had to deal with this pic of an old pal of yours rooting you on. Of course, I wouldve felt partially responsible for the psychotic, homicidal rage that was triggered inside of you, but as long as I could keep an alibi here at work, I wouldnt get tried as an accomplice. Cheers!

Bonus points for finding a picture of Kit standing next to someone who looks like he could be an illegitimate son of Phil Collins.
