That's right... hockey.

So anything playing as noise in the background of a hockey game is innappropriate, thus, start shouting it out when Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll part 2" comes on, because it has nothing to do with hockey.

Oh, and team mascots, they have nothing to do with hockey either, so they're inappropriate as well.

Don't get me started on the zamboni. Yeah, sure, it resurfaces ice, but that's only a cursory part to hockey, so technically it's inappropriate. As is electricity that powers the sporting arena. That's way inappropriate.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is...

It's not that it makes any sense, it's the appropriateness of having "How come every time you come around, my London, London Bridge wanna go down? Like London, London, we going down like London, London" over the PA system. And this was the same day that NBC used "London Bridge" coming back from a commerical break in the World Match Play golf tournament that was being held outside London - does anybody even bother listening to lyrics anymore? - ah nevermind.
