OK here we go!  Start time 8:25 a.m.

I decided to go nostalgic.  "Warm It Up" was my favorite Kris Kross song when I was 13.  I actually still own the album, Totally Krossed Out, which I believe I actually received as a birthday present.  I like to get it out and listen to a few tracks every once in a while for my own amusement.

Right now I'm tolerating it quite well.  But I can tell that this is going to get very bad!  The horn sample at the beginning is going to start getting to me after awhile.  And just hearing "(warm it up Kriss) I'm about to, (warm it up Kriss) cuz that's what I was born to do" over and over and over again.  I think they say that line about 100 times in the song.  I should count.

Good luck, Buzz!

If you get hungry, why not have some Daddy Mac 'n' Cheez.  You can warm it up, apparently.

Warm it up, Jeff!

Uh... like the depletion of the ozone layer or something.

The phrase "warm it up Kris" is uttered a total of 48 times in the song.

Uh oh. Now that you've counted it, what else are you going to do? I think I would have saved that task for later on in the torturethon.

Ok this is starting to get old.  Still groovin but not so enthusiastically.  I imagine I'll stop nodding my head in the next hour...or it will turn into catatonic rocking.

You know I was actually considering using the Snow song, "Informer," for the torturethon.  I'm glad I didn't.  I think it would probably be twice is bad as this.  First, you can't understand the lyrics, and second, even when you read the actual lyrics they still don't make sense.  And it has the phrase "a licky  boom boom down" in it.  What the hell is that?  White-boy-dance-hall slang for rimming??

"Informer" might have been a good choice of a Torturethon song for me as well.

No clue what "a licky boom boom down" means, but you might be on to something."

I always thought it was about a particularly noisy ice cream cone.

I don't know this particular Christopher Cross song you're listening to Buzz - was it also in "Arthur"?

What kind of "state of mind" you in, huh?

You should have some cream puffs for lunch or dessert today!

I know two people in these parts who'd draw and quarter you for such comments.  Granted, neither are particularily scary or prone to violence, so the worst you'd get is a Bobby Brown-esque screwface.

But, it is a scary ass screwface.

What are Kriss and Kross up to these days?  I have an image of them touring the country with Kid 'n' Play and Heavy D playing family reunions or something.
