I'm looking forward to Robert Kirkman's new series "The Astounding Wolf-Man" and  all three offerings from Dark Horse look to rock pretty hard. Particularly "The Umbrella Academy" and "Zero Killer". Huzzah for free comics!

I always mean to participate in this and I've only done it once. Can't remember if I actually read the comic that I picked up. BOOOO on me!

I drove up to Columbus with a buncha my geek girls (Browncoats) to go see Nicholas Brendon at Packrat Comics. Yay Xander from Buffy!  It was pretty sweet.  Then we went to another comic shop (The Laughing Ogre) while we were up there, and really made out like bandits on the free stuff.  Great day, awesome little road trip!

I had to work and missed out on all the goodies! Sad  But on the plus side, our two local stores got mega press coverage, so yeah! Good things!

He's not in jail?

You should've asked to see his taser burns.

FCBD at Superfly Comics in Yellow Springs was the best they've ever had. They ordered twice as many copies of everything as the previous year, and still ran out of most of them before lunchtime.  I'd say they had a steady 20+ people in the store at all times.
J made a killing signing prints, too.  Plus he snagged a copy of the Fraggle Rock comic for me before they were all gone.
