PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!

Heh. I was telling someone about this the other day and even I said "the kids parts weren't very complicated....because hey it's not like Depeche Mode was ever very complicated." But I don't care. It's pretty amazing.

Art is impossible to define. Shitty art is not.

No, they don't need to dub it.  Depeche Mode just sucks that bad.

I find the kids' part annoying. That guy needs to teach them to sing. I hate it when children sing at all though.

Because children should neither be seen nor heard.

I really dislike the Koko venue in London. It's usually full of twats. Looks like I might have to brave it in February, though. Kurt Vile is playing, with support coming from Sonic Boom + Real Estate. I think I've got the day off that day as well. Should be good.

I still buy monthly music magazines when I have a few spare quid. They make for decent lunch break reading at work, and the free cover CD is a nice way of getting new/old music. It's a long time since I got Q, but Uncut and Mojo are pretty good still, as is the Word. Anyway, this tickled me from this month's Uncut Letters page:

WHAT A ROTTER!

I feel compelled to weigh in on Ben Marshall's interview with The Horrors' Farris Rotter. I can't remember getting as agitated from reading an interview as I did after reading every response from that skinny twat. Does he really think he's a rock star? I hope Ben clipped that little prick right across his giant hooter at interview's end. Better check yer watch, Farris - 14:59, tick-tock.
