In "honor" of their return, I've decided to go with this track from their debut. (It was a toss up between them and the Spice Girls, but this track title won the battle.)

Tune in Monday at 10 EST for my take on this song.

Cool (I guess!)

Just do me a favor and "sign up" stating how long you plan to go for and to see who all will sponsor you. I believe you'll be kicking it all off then.....

So where have I been? Technical difficulties. iTunes didn't want to play the song. My computer is protecting my sanity. Cheesy

The song starts with almost a full minute instrumental introduction, which I'm discovering is a nice buffer. The first "main" lyric is "Oh my god we're back again". Yep - that's what I'm thinking on only the fourth listen.

iTunes must have gotten wind of your Torturethon plan and couldn't bear the thought. Wink

They didn't spare any expense in the lyrics department. First up, the chorus, which is sung 5 times:

Everybody yeah
Rock your body yeah
Everybody
Rock your body right
Backstreet's back alright

Deep, huh?

I have to say this is less painless than listening in the car. I'm able to distract myself a bit reading e-mail, etc.

Then again, I still have 6 hours to go.
