Ok, I'm really losing it. I'm sitting here updating users addresses who have gone into collection. The stupid song just started again, and I actually just answered the question "Will you count me in". I answered it out loud, even though there is no one around. NO! I will not count you in. NO NO NO!

Further searching lead me to an article on the askmen.com website, and that's where I found this quote:
"I always go write songs in the bathroom because it sounds so good in there. It's like you're in a cathedral! It makes it sound a lot better, which gives you more confidence. I think melodies come out easier."
- Colbie Caillat
Ironically, the bathroom is where I've been going to get away from her song. And it does sound a lot better in there, than it does in my office.
See, I had to resist the, "Know what else comes out easier in the bathroom" joke...

Definitions for Bubbly out of the Oxford English Dictionary:
1. Full of bubbles. (In Sc. = blubbering.) bubbly water (slang), champagne; also ellipt. as n.
I was hoping to arrive home to find a bottle of bubbly waiting on my porch for me and a nice hot bubble bath already run for me, as a congrats for a job well done. This kind of bubbly may actually make my nose crinkle in a good way. Unfortunately, I came home to an empty porch and an empty tub.
2. fig. Of a person: vivacious, full of high spirits.
After listening to this song for the entire day, this is not a term that can be used to describe me right now....or perhaps ever....you all can be the judge on that. Perhaps if someone was hiding with me under the covers and holding me ti iii ight, I might feel differently, but I highly doubt it.
And here's why I don't like wikipedia. When I looked up bubbly there, the
ONLY
thing listed there was this stupid song. And people wonder why the youth of today don't know anything!

My official end time was 4:49 pm.
Calculating it out, that means I listened to it 303 times.
As far as my emotional state, I'm doing pretty well. This was much easier to do than last year's. I think because it is a ballad, as opposed to a pop song with a beat, it was easier to handle. The beat from last year's song was an incessant noise that I couldn't deal with.
Physical state: As soon as I got to my car, I started my channel flipping. Anything to get that song out of my head. I even came across Crank Dat, which there is NO WAY I could have handled. My ears are not ringing. However, there has been some latent muscular problems. I got home, and dropped a chicken breast on poor Twizzle. It just slipped out of my hands.
I am glad to be done.

Well I'd never heard of this song or this singer.
Post Youtube, my thoughts:
man is this a boring ass song. It's almost excruciating in how unexciting it is.
If there's anything redeeming it's that I almost buy that she's sincere. Almost.

I don't know this singer and have never (knowingly) heard the song. Your description of it is all I need to realise it is a great big bucket of crap without the bucket.
Well done L!
I am still contemplating doing a 'thon, but worried I have still not properly recovered from last years torture.

Yay! Mission accomplished! I'm so sorry that there was no dance for you to learn, too! that would have passed some of the time for you. And I'm glad to know that "Crank That" was there to erase Bubbly from your mind, post-listen. I'm still twitching from it!

Fantastic job, trixi! Just making me read that you listened to it 303 times makes me feel weak.
