I'm having a wicked hard time deciding on an 8-hour Torturethon song this year. Here are the songs that have been suggested by "friends" so far. Majority wins.  Cry

I Only Wanna Be With You would be a much more difficult Hootie song to tackle.

"Hey There" is good because it is so simple and there aren't a whole lot of changes in the song to distract you.

"Can't Fight This Feeling" would be fun if you could somehow videotape yourself doing that power ballad drum fill in the middle of the song.

Not for me, Bu'uh. "Let Her Cry" is so plodding, monotonous, and dreary. It's like trying to navigate in sneakers through foot-deep swamp mud in the pouring rain. ~shudder~

Hey There, Delilah. Talk about monotonous. I thought it was a cute and quirky little ditty the first three thousand times I heard it. Now I want to hurt things every time it comes on.

whigs, it's gotta be the one that makes you wince at the name of the song let alone hearing it all the way thru.  On that list it would be REO's 'gem' - something about midwest radio stations having a mandate to play this band over and over.  It's disgusting.  Yep, even more disgusting than Hootie!

REO Speedwagon might be the most fun to try.

I voted for Hey There Delilah, but that's kind of mean.  I think we discussed that song earlier this year, and Scott was the only one who could stand it.  Now he's joined us on the other side.
