Looking at my list in the 50 Movies thread... I've watched the

Star Wars Trilogy (original, thankyouverymuch)
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Indiana Jones Trilogy (now quadrilogy)
Eddie Murphy Trilogy (48 Hours, Coming to America, Trading Places)

I've watched two of the
Shreks
Harry Potters
Die Hards

Hmmmm. I'm wondering what other groupings I should check out. I mean, I'd like to watch Godfather I and II again, but I've never seen III and have been told that life is better this way. Any other suggestions?

Ah! Good call. Not this year, so I will add them to the list.

I also thought of the "xx of the Dead" movies, which I've never seen one lick of. Yet.

Wow, if I did that I think I'd have to double check to see if I still had male genitalia.
Next time I'm dating a cheesy-eighties movie loving chick I'll queue those up, though.

Whoa Whoa WHOA!!!!!
I know plenty of dudes who can totally appreciate at least 2 out of those 3 movies and firmly believe their genitalia is still intact.

I can appreciate Breakfast Club. But that doesn't mean I'm watching it!

Chevy Chase has a fascinating chin. If it were upholstered with some fetching ladies underwear, it would resemble a rather welcoming front-bottom, if you dimmed the lights and squinted a little.

Yeah, I absolutely believe my genitalia are intact, but then, I am a master of self-delusion.

I'm adding Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Some Kind of Wonderful to this list.

And I'm as completely shocked as c-lando and cuddly were.  I think we all might have to stage an intervention for you Dan.

Seriously. I mean, I understand why you might shy away from Sixteen Candles - but there's that shower scene that all teenage boys loved. And Pretty in Pink? It had Andrew Dice Clay. He's not there for the female crowd. And Breakfast Club is totally not a chick flick. If nothing else, the soundtrack for these three movies was very well done - it was my introduction to modern rock.
