I can't believe LOVE ACTUALLY is 5 years old already. SHEEBUS. I watched it again over the weekend and I am now officially ready for the Christmas season. BOOOOOOOO. It converted me over to the darkside 5 days early.

We haven't watched it yet this year, I'm sure we will before the big day.  I'm partial to the Colin Firth plotline.

But the Clapton song had the same problem... "After midnight, I'm gonna let it all hang out"..... means that the bearded drug fart & ex-Creamer was planning to let "it" hang out - potentially - ALL frigging day?!! Then, at midnight, presumably and somewhat horrifically, start all over again. Actually he wouldn't be "starting again" at all, just hanging it out ad infinitum, perhaps even hanging it out even now??!

Lets just say "after midnight" meant until sunrise. Straighforward enough EXCEPT there are a whole slew of midnights across the world. Did the chinese guy who let Mogwai go mean "midnight EST" or "midnight Shanghai"? Is there really any wonder that the little furry bastards ended up fucking with the traffic lights?
