Joss Whedon is supposedly close to directing The Avengers (comic version, so no bad acting from Sean Connery again) movie.

Not sure if it's the best move, but if it has singing about Bad Horse making Iron Man his mare, then it might be passable.

When I saw the 1997 version of the The Avengers with two friends, it was so bad that we walked out the theaters and made a pact to never ever speak of it again.

I feel a guilty pleasure in looking forward to the Prince of Persia film. I'm sure it will suck, but Gemma Atherton looks amazingly hot in the trailers, and the whole film looks fun. I'm hoping for success along the lines of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I think MacGruber is going to be a lot better than people think.  Of course it could be ten times better than people think and still not be worth seeing.  I think think it's going to be solidly average, maybe worth a rental.
