I think the funniest thing I saw on TV all week was Amy Farrah Fowler's response to her gift from Sheldon.

CBS has decided that Big Bang Theory should run from 8:00 to 8:31pm now.

This means that it no longer records on my DVR.  We missed last weeks new episode and I thought it was a fluke, so we watched online.  We missed this week's episode and I looked at my DVR settings.  It's because I have Wipeout (yes, I know it's a precursor to the foretold downward spiral of Ow! My Balls! as television's lowest point) taping at 8:00 on ABC and Parks & Rec taping at 8:30 on NBC.  Thus my DVR thinks a show running one minute over negates the entire show.

You suck CBS.

Oh crap. I hope my TIVO still recorded my shows. I hate all of this monkeying with start/end times!!!

PS: No shame in BIG BALLS. (Take me out of context for all I care)

My DVR has done the same thing to The Office. Which may not be a bad thing.

Mrs. Poncho said to me last night "You know, when they lost Michael Scott and split him into two people, I think I lost interest in this show."  I tend to agree with her.  They took uncomfortable, inappropriate, unsettling Michael Scott and broke him off into Robert California and took inept, neurotic, zany Michael Scott and broke him off into The Nard Dog.

I have loved the sidebars with Jim & the gang, but the main focus of the show seems gone.  It's not really a show now, but a bunch of SNL skits that are about the same group of people.

Finally watched Game of Thrones because TWC finally has HBO to Go. I only watched it because of Sean Bean and but managed to get sucked in anyway. That doesn't change the fact it pissed me off when they killed off many of the characters I grew to like.  Angry It's a good thing a few of them that I like are still alive because otherwise I am not sure I would really care if I found out what happened to everybody in this world. I will say, I can't believe what HBO can get away with even with it being premium cable.

I haven't watched the show, but assuming it's like the book series (which everyone says it is) you should stick with it.

It's a shock at first to see all the people you like as heroes die off (and it keeps happening), but they get replaced by different people to root for.  Sometimes they are new characters who are introduced, and sometimes just you learn a little more about existing characters and suddenly you find yourself seeing them in a whole new light.

Yeah, I know. I say I am "not excited now" but as soon as I watch S2 E1 I'll be sucked in all over again. Wink

I'm really looking forward to "Awake" starting in a few weeks. Jason Isaacs, interesting story- I hope NBC doesn't screw the whole thing up.

that whole show seemed way better than the last few i've seen....which only means: the more previous cast members the better.

i wasn't impressed with sleigh bells though.

Vernon liked it:

He tweeted: "holy s***, i was just watching SNL and JT did a Bon Iver hilarious thing! Also, Maya Rudolph saying 'bon iver' is enough. I can die now!!!"
