Wait! I can't do mine until Tuesday! (noon-6)
And it will be 6 hours of Country Music.
Double Q
It will be absolutely wretched!
Okay, we'll keep it open for that!

I'm going to jump in this year.
JohnnyRoyale convinced me, and I recently found the most horribly perfect thing for me. It's not "music" per se, but it's the most horrific thing I can think of to listen to on repeat.
A 2 x LP copy of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man And The Sea read by Charlton Heston.
Total program time is: 2h 22m 56s and I've pledged to listen to the entire book four consecutive times.
I'll be starting at around midnight on 12/05 and going until I'm done.

Just be sure to put this into the Sign-ups thread (makes it easier to tally everything in the end) and put me down for $10 if you make it through.
Good luck!

Awesome! Thanks everyone for voting for me. Is there any way I can take my winnings and add that to the donation to Fractured Atlas? Since didn't do any sponsoring directly, I'd like to contribute that way...

So in total we raised $240. Randomville matched 50% of that, bringing the total to $360.
We have just made a contribution of $360 to Fractured Atlas for the 2008 Torturethon.
THANK YOU to all involved this year!!!

Don't know if there was a link to this before, but Fractured Atlas blogged about the T'thon back in October. I'd keep checking to see if they talk about us and the amount we raised soon.

Is '09's T-thon going to be in October again this year? I want to plan my torture in advance.
Thx!

No Torturethon? REALLY!?!?!?
I think some folks should pick songs and torture themselves just because it always makes for interesting reading.
