1. Saving Silverman

It was about time we saw this.  Steve Zahn would have been enough on his own but he and Jack Black are wonderful together.

2. Yours, Mine and Ours (1968 version)

I hadn't seen this in years.  It's still charming and fun.

3. Murderball

Very well done.  The guy that did Bigger, Stronger, Faster* could have taken a page from Murderball... even with so much ground to cover it can still be done well in 90 minutes.

1. Religulous (I'm not all that religious, and this movie kept pissing me off.  Bill Maher's snark and condescension doesn't work well here.)
2. The Wrestler (Mother of God, even if you don't like professional wrestling, I think most people will dig this movie.  Perfect ending.)

1. THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON - 1/1/09 - AMC Pkwy Point - 2.5 out of 5 - I wasn't blown away like I had hoped. I wish I had never known that the screenwriter also penned FORREST GUMP. Totally took the shine off this movie for me as they both seem to similar. Plus, I found nothing to love about the Cate Blanchett character. She was sort of a bitch. Meh. Brad was way hott, though. Again, I'm pervy in '09.
2. FOUR CHRISTMASES - 1/2/09 - AMC Pkwy Point - 3 out of 5 - a little better than I thought it would be. The TABOO session between Jon Favereau's character and his screen wife totally bumped this rating up 1 star. I might even rent the DVD if there are more Taboo outtakes available.

1. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (3/5)

Meh. It was okay. Much like The Wrestler, it didn't suck or anything, I just don't get the hype. Good movie, yeah, but all the Oscar talk? It's like certain actors and directors are always at the center of it because of the all the pre-release hype.
