What, no reviews? Those are the best part. Smiley
I added them. I was just too lazy at the time.

1. THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON - 1/1/09 - AMC Pkwy Point - 2.5 out of 5
2. FOUR CHRISTMASES - 1/2/09 - AMC Pkwy Point - 3 out of 5
3. GRINDHOUSE - 1/3/09 - Encore - 3.5 out of 5 - while I've seen DEATH PROOF before, I've never seen PLANET TERROR. I also didn't get to see all the "previews" and such until I watched the films in this format. PLANET TERROR didn't do it for me. Way too gory just to be gory. I *loved* Cherry Darling and El Ray/Rey and a few other characters, but I hate zombies. In all forms. BLARG. I mean, I get it. But, it wasn't for me. This version of DEATH PROOF lacked the lap dance and the scene with Kurt grazing Rosario's foot. Both were big scenes for me in the other format of DEATH PROOF. So, I guess I'd recommend that folks rent that version alone instead of missing out on those scenes by watching both films together. Also need to mention that DEATH PROOF totally stood up well to a second viewing. I'm in love with all the chick dialog and the insane car chase scenes.

Never saw this one before, and it was INCREDIBLE. I cried buckets at the end.

1. Saving Silverman
2. Yours, Mine and Ours (1968 version)
3. Murderball
4. Back to the Future
5. Back to the Future Part II
6. Back to the Future Part III

The wife decided that she wanted to see these so we watched them over the weekend one each night.  Gotta love the BttF franchise.  Seeing Michael J. Fox makes me sad.  I had never noticed how terrible Elizabeth Shue was in these, maybe it was just the stupidity of her character... but then again the first girl that played Jennifer didn't come off as an idiot, so I don't know.  Luckily she's only in them briefly.

Tom F. Wilson (Biff) is now doing stand up comedy and painting.  I really like his paintings... check them out at www.bigpopfun.com

Watched this again for the first time in a long time. Loved seeing have-since-become-big-stars like John Simm in a pre-"Life on Mars" role as Joy Division/New Order's Bernie Sumner. Still hate Steve Coogan in almost everything he does, but here I know he's playing someone who WAS a pompous prick. Worth the admission fee then and now for the classic line "You were right about Mick Hucknall... his music's rubbish and he's a ginger"

1. The Savages - 9

Both leads were great as always, as a timely topic hits home for me.  My parents aren't too far off from needing some major assistance from an assisted living complex.

1. Twilight (theater) 2.5 of 5 - +1 for the great use of Muse during the baseball game -.5 for the cheesy special effects. The book is better (at 3.5 stars).
