This American Life - Live!

On April 23, This American Life, the public radio program will broadcast a live show to more than 400 movie theaters nationwide. Host Ira Glass will welcome an array of special guests, including Dan Savage, Mike Birbiglia and David Rakoff. Chris Ware will contribute a cartoon, and - get this - Joss Whedon will deliver a “special musical performance.”

The event starts at 8 p.m. ET. Check out the list of participating theaters, and grab a seat while you can. 

Much to my amazement, a Dayton theater (Hollywood Stadium 20 @ Fairfield Commons) is actually taking place in this.  If anyone else is interested in going, get at me.

For the record I was confused by this, too. 'Chagrin' isn't a positive thing, and I think she means it's to her excitement. It threw me for a loop.
