"Terriers" starts tonight on FX. I've been reading LOTS of good things about it. So, I'm going to give it a shot.

Damnit!  I didn't need any more shows to watch.

Same thing I said. But, hopefully it'll be great and worth deleting something else off the Season Pass.

We've had a few shows that have been our summer season backup shows.  Shows that we don't really care about, but meh... whatever, they are ok to watch when everything else is in reruns.  We've been deleting a ton of those after poor seasons.

It might be nice to have a few replacements... or even something that moves our normal shows to backups.

Man, I still haven't found anything I care enough about to watch regularly on TV. I'll definitely be checking out the Walking Dead on AMC, though.

We had CSI: NY and CSI: LV as backup shows, but they've just gotten horrible.  They were always cheesy (and CSI: Miami has always been unbearable) but they've gone straight to the basement.  Their last 2 seasons each were bad... with the close of this season (for both) just going straight into the toilet.

We put a few other shows in there that after an episode or two just were too bad to continue, so we deleted them all.

I have to admit, I'm kind of interested in "Raising Hope" on Fox. The previews have made me howl with laughter, and Martha Plimpton is in it, and I kind of like her.

Really liked Terriers.  Full of smart laughs.  Donal Logue is awesome.  Loved the little gag of him trying to get that Karen Carpenter song stuck in his partners head.

YES! We finally watched it last night and I can't believe how much I'm loving Logue in this role. He seems like a totally different actor now. Very excited to see how this pans out week to week. Maybe a bit like BURN NOTICE, with one main arch and then weekly assignments/clients?

I wanted to give the event a shot last night, but I was too sleepy. I'll have to watch it online and see if it's worth adding to my rotation.

It was predictable to say the least.  I like a lot of the cast but even so it was an obvious exploiting of the gap left by 24.  I guess it was passable entertainment but it was nothing earth shattering, for sure.

Also skip Mike and Molly... gawd what steaming pile that was.  I have never, and I mean never given up on a new show before the end of the pilot but there was absolutely nothing that could save it.
