It's a smallish club downtown that opened last year. The guy who books has been booking for decades in the alternative / indie genre and is also a leader of the Midpoint Music Fest. Always free shows.

I did not think I was going to like the new SSLYBY, but I did.  I'd go see those guys for free.  Ought to be a pretty mellow show, which is about the only show I can handle nowadays.

Of course the 8 hour drive probably makes it a little difficult.

$7 isn't free, but that's how much their show in Richmond on Friday night will be.
