We won't be able to talk about how impressive and fun to watch Ricky Rubio was in his debut until next year.  Wink

It's too bad Anthony Randolph isn't playing. He's supposed to be pretty good, right?

There was an Anthony Randolph sighting.  He's one of those long, athletic, huge potential but hasn't really panned out yet types.

Yeah, sorry. I was looking at the boxscore of their 2nd game where did got a DNP-Coach's Decision. In the first game (a much closer game, btw) he did indeed play.

Actually, the Wolves made a game of it against the Bucks and Love missed a 3-pointer to tie at the buzzer.  Randolph only had 3 minutes in the first game.  The Wolves have about 17 power forwards on the roster and he's stuck behind Love, Beasley, Williams, and Tolliver.

is this true that kenyon martin is going to the KNICKS???

He was in China?  Was this because of the lockout?  So now he has left China but can't play in the NBA until March.  This should be interesting.  He's only 34?

Yeah, there's a few of them who were in China and were/are either stuck there or still can't play until March even if they are back. Wilson Chandler is another, I think.

Yes, they went over there because of the lockout.

What this means is that someone is going to be able to pick them up come March and it might swing the playoff race, depending on who they end up playing with.

Dan, you've got to be loving Irving's game. I've been watching Cavs games just to watch him.

I'm loving reading about him! They are only on National TV once this year (March 25) and have been on local TV once or twice. I saw one of their games, but missed a few. And then every now and then they are on NBA TV but those games aren't decided ahead of time so I always miss 'em. ARRRGGH!!!

But yes, we could not be happier with the way they are playing and especially Irving. He's magnificent so far. Let's hope this keeps up.

Tristan Thompson, on the other hand, has been underwhelming.

K-Mart to the Clippers.  Oof.  They're making the conference finals this year.

OKC vs Chicago if you were asking.  You weren't?  OK.

After sitting through season after season of losing, it's good to be a T-Wolves fan right now.

They're still the Clippers.  They'll lose in the Conf. Semis.

Hah!

I don't know how I feel about this. I hate Sterling as he's a racist slumlord who's run a franchise so horribly over the years that I don't wish success for his team at all and he even needed the NBA to pull off the shadiest action in recent memory to even get CP3, but I do like the collection of players they have there now. It's fun.

So I'm torn. But excited to see how it plays out.

they might do it!
every few years you hear about how the clippers are rebuilding and should be taken seriously, but this is really the first time i've ever thought it to be really true.
