Just found out that, to my great relief, the Xavier Sweet 16 basketball game has a tip-off Friday evening at 7:15 pm. Game should be over by 9:15 or so, so just enough time to motor over to the venue in time for the Joy Formidable. And if I can catch a few songs of APTBS' set, that'd be great too.

I would be surprised by this but this is Cincinnati after all. I mean, if Radiohead can't sell out Riverbend in a few minutes, then what hope does JF have?

If recent setlists hold true for Friday's show, they'll play just about every track from "The Big Roar", rounded out with a couple of new songs. Can't wait for this.

Despite having lived about 200 yards behind the 20th Century Theater for about 2 years, this will be the first time I've ever actually been inside. Looking forward to seeing APTBS again, though.

I missed the opening acts (due to the Xavier basketball game), but got there in time for The Joy Formiadable, and what an epic show that was, just wow. Absolutely fantastic. They blew me away.
Great to see so many WOXY boarders, Neil, TayFo, Jen, Markus, JPS, Pourmesometea, sorry if I forget anyone else..
