I'll guess Fleet Foxes. And I'll be very, very sad if I'm correct.

Not as sad as I would've been if The Decemberists had been #1.

PJ Harvey at #12?  Behind The Decemberists?  I really hate you guys.

I really didn't like that Elbow album.  I am shocked it is #8.

I had a hard time not putting that Elbow album as my #1. I pretty much did a coin toss and it lost so it was #2 while I put Bombay Bicycle Club as #1. Guy Garvey could write the lyrics off most of the albums that made that list as far as I am concerned. I am super excited to hear his collaboration with Jimi Goodwin.

I also liked Joy Formidable and Fleet Foxes; they kicked Bon Iver's a$$ that is for sure (what a disaster of an album and annoying). Should have tied with James Blake for #98.

Wild Flag...stuck behind Elbow, Bon Iver, and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. That's a shame.

I would have put it in my top 10.  What would that have been, another 40 points?

The list is fun to do for people I guess, but it's a pretty crappy representation of what people actually thought was good.

Yes.  That would've got it into the top 10.  Thanks for nothing.

Guy Garvey is a great bloke, fantastic wordsmith, all that mularky. But that last album is shit. unreal that it scored higher than wooden shjips and PJ Harvey in particular.

A fun read, all the same Smiley

I didn't love that Elbow album at first, but after hearing those tracks live it really started to hit home and won me over. That being said, it still didn't break my top ten.

But what, PJ Harvey? She hasn't had anything top 50 worthy in more than a decade. However, a recording of a collection of favorite noises recorded from her toilet would beat out anything put out by the Decemberists. Anyone who would suggest otherwise needs to get their hearing checked.

Happy weekend, all!

Let England Shake was her best since Rid of Me.

And also yeah, 4's comments regarding The Decemberists are correct.

I listened to Back in the DHSS over Christmas for the first time in years. Great fun. I also have a Dukla Prague away kit! Well, I've got the shirt, anyway Smiley
