I recorded
The Fades
on BBC America, but I haven't watched it yet.
Ditto here. Maybe this weekend.

"Alcatraz" sucked us in quite nicely with those first two episodes. I do wonder if it can sustain the interest though

My cousin described it as the new "Lost." Is that how you felt? I knew I should have set up the DVR. If I can remember, I will do and watch the other eps online.

It probably tries a little too hard to be Lost-like, but it definitely is in the exact same ballpark in the "feel" of Lost. They were smart to bring in Michael Giacchino to do the music as he brings back the same atmosphere.
From the first two episodes though, I'm left with a feeling that the inmates are going to be more interesting than the main characters.
Hurley is Hurley, police chick is Kate, Sam Neill is Sam Neill trying to be Ben Linus... it's all rather cookie cutter Lost, but the inmates and the "hatch-like" second Alcatraz show promise.
I'm a bit torn, but intrigued enough to watch for a while.

I'm glad I didn't watch if that's the case. I don't need more "mythology" shit to keep track of.

I still think it's more of THE 4400 than LOST. But, I think only Wherle and I ever watched that show.

"Touch" premier was actually pretty decent, but if it's like "Heroes" (also by Tim Kring), it'll be one good season then right into the toilet...
Shame, really...

I watched the Napoleon Dynamite cartoon last night. Wow....it was so bad. I can't imagine anyone thinking this was a good idea.

Speaking of new cartoons, I'm enjoying "Unsupervised" on FX. It's odd (almost because it's so straight-forward instead of trying to be weird) and I really like the two main characters.

Heads up for all of those w/Netflix.
The whole of Season 1 of "Boss" is now streaming, but only for a couple of weeks or so
