I know it's been out for a while and I know there were a lot of posts over at woxy, but I just saw this yesterday at Esquire. But hot damn, this is THE most Creative movie I've ever seen. The fact that someone could actually come up with the concepts for the movie and also the fragments of the different scenes is amazing in its own. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet put in award winning roles. It was very odd to see Carrey doing something serious, but my hat's off.

This movie fits in at #2 all time for me (and that's a bold statement, i know)....right behind Pulp Fiction, of course.

Go see it before it's completely out of the theatres.

What impressed me most is that it was not only an excellent movie, but the director even failed to ruin the whole thing with a bad ending.  I hate it when a great movie has a boner ending.

I hate it when a boner movie has a great ending.  Aw, who am I kidding?  I never make it that far.  30 minutes in, I'm spent.

hey butta, when you're done with those 5-erection boner movies, send 'em my way.  Apparently I've only got the 1-erection variety.

ew.
i don't have a boner, but i loved ESOTSM.  i was really excited about gondry making a movie...his music videos are sublime.

i liked jim carrey in this a lot-- i usually hate him...but now i'm stoked for lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events...
