"True Romance" was on the other night and I made my wife watch it until Christopher Walken blows Dennis Hopper's head off.  I love the story Dennis tells Walken about the origin of the Sicilians...one of my all time favorite movie moments.  I finally succumbed to my wife's harranguing about how many times I've watched that movie and let her change the channel.  I never get tired of watching it.

I just watched Welcome to the Dollhouse again this afternoon.  Again it made me laugh out loud.  I've only seen it...oh... about 40 times.

i read a little about the remake concerning the implications of a hillary-esque character and how they were trying to take some of that out. strange. but that aside, i don't think i'll bother. i don't think it can be improved upon enough to warrent a remake. besides,i've seen it so many times, i would have a hard time shaking Sinatra,Landsbury,et al  from my mind in those roles.

Last night, I was about to watch A&E's Biography tribute to Marlon Brando when I noticed that Turner Classic Movies was showing To Kill a Mockingbird at the same time. I debated for about 10 seconds and flipped over. That movie still makes me cry. Love Gregory Peck's performance as well as Robert Duvall's movie debut.

After the film, they threw out some trivia...like the character Dill was based on Harper Lee's friend Truman Capote. I always thought that kid was kinda odd. Learn something new everyday.
