howdy!  kruschev checking in.  i missed saying stupid shit.  needed the outlet to vent.
wait...silentpaul and luisterpaul are different?

Word. I was under the impression that silentpaul changed his name to luisterpaul and now there are two silentpaul's...

small world, huh?

I'm too old for this shizznit.
I'm the real silentluisterpaul. Accept no substitutions.

Not bad. But you could have modified the quote so your post resembled mine exactly. Now *that* would have been clever!  Grin

If my research is correct, luisterpaul is silentpaul and daytime drinking is another woxy boarder - I'm thinking Kruschev. Am I right?

My research indicates the same, and my sources are different.

man, you guys are good!

Not sure if I'm a "lurker", but since I haven't posted since '05, I'm certainly no regular.

Um...I just tried to hit up the ol' WOXY boards for a trip down memory lane (a sober weekday trip, no less), and received the ominous "Error 404". Guess it finally gasped its last breath?

Oh yes, a couple months back now.  Just so you know, these parts are different.

I wonder how many people never made the jump from WOXY to here in the aftermath? Facebook's just not the same as a good, old-fashioned messageboard.

Well, I made my profile here back in 04 not long after R'ville was created, but never posted much here. And also, I quit the WOXY boards as my job changed to a traveling role (I was almost exclusively a daytime WOXY board poster until my weekday life hit the road). So it's been a long, long time since I've posted anywhere. Although I would periodically peek in on the ol' boards just to see if there were any interesting developments.

I miss posting. But much more than that, I miss hearing Barb intro some great tunes across my car stereo.

Quite a few. And agreed. FB is good to keep in touch with extended family and friends but I prefer messageboards for everything else.

Agree with Jen that we lost quite a few, though we also gradually lost many of them before woxy went kablooey. I don't really understand why many of the familiar faces didn't make the obvious jump over here, but it's clear that was the case.
