I can't help myself. With a release date of July 23rd, I'm already sick of all the hype.

Ok, the bad first...

-The filmmakers get rid of the Selina Kyle Catwoman we know and love/hate and change her into Patience Philips

-Gotham City? Who needs it? Let's take an established DC character and separate it from it's continuity.

-The suit…the suit...

The good…

-Well, at least if it’s out of the DC continuity it hopefully won’t affect the new Batman flick. It looks like the perfect example of someone who knows how to deal with the source material. Chris Nolan seems to have all the pieces in place while Pitof may have a laughing stock on his hands.

wait, is cat women going to be supehero in the movie? no gotham, no batman ref. what so ever in the movie? yeah,m i'll wait and rent this one.

The costume looks awful. The movie just looks like an excuse to get Hally Berry running around in leather (which I would be fine with if I was a 14 yr old heterosexual boy). It looks like it'll be pretty lame. They should have gotten Sean Young.

I thought this was gonna be a thread about the Garfield live action movie I just saw a trailer for. Either way, the thread title will be apropos for both, I'd wager.

We saw the trailer for garfield on Sunday and my husband leaned over and said "Isn't this about 10 years too late??". As much as it pains me to say, Jennifer Love Hewitt may be the best thing in that movie... :vomits:
