Sunday morning I go to meet a friend at the bar to watch the Manchester United vs Arsenal game on the Upper East Side. We are talking about the individual players and some of my ignorance comes out and I have to ask which team said individual plays for. The answer is Man U, and I point out that I know more about the Arsenal team because I read David Hirshey, who is a funny columnist that writes about soccer for ESPN. I enjoy his writing very much, but get irritated because he's a huge Arsenal fan and all he writes about are the Gunners. Therefore, I know their players better, despite how annoying his love is for them.

As the game ends we're sitting there still and David Hirshey walks by. Of course. Of course he does.

ZK:  It's really sort of hard to face life on your own.  Not just emotionally, but technically.  Like things are much harder.  And so, I feel like I finally get marriage.  It's like having a teammate for life.  Sure, there are sacrifices to be made for the team and you don't always get along... but in the end it's easier to do things as a team.  I feel like I've finally matured enough to understand that.

ZK's friend:  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

*five minutes later*

ZK's friend:..... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........

ZK:  Wait, what?

ZK's friend:  Ask me why I got married.

ZK:  Oooohhkay.  Why did you get married.

ZK's friend:  Because I enjoy the challenge.

ZK's friend #2:  Oh my God.  That's brilliant.
