“I just can't wait until Disney makes a movie out of The Great Movie Ride. That one will be worthy of some Charlie Kaufman screenwriting.”

I'd go with ya too Richmond. I haven't had any good Japanese food in ages!
Today, I have been mostly eating a veggie burger from BurgerKing. And it isn't agreeing with me.

grapenuts with fresh strawberries and maybe a little granola thrown on top.
geez, it's 12:13, and I still haven't eaten. Maybe I should tear myself away from the computer and go do that.

I had kosher dill pickles. 5 of 'em. I have an 80oz. jar of 'em. It only cost me $2.88. I got 'em a week or two ago, but I'm still terribly happy about it. Also, I had toast.

Yeah, I was there to buy a lightbulb, right? One of those halogen T-bulbs? Anywho, I'm walkin' up toward the registers, and suddenly a heavenly chorus and pure life-light manifested themselves immediately to my right (I might've imagined that part...jury's still out). I look over, and there it is....the huge-ass jar-o-pickles. "Mine all mine," is what I immediately said (in my head, so as not to cause any of the Walmartians to question my sanity and call someone to take me away for some "quiet time"), and within 3 minutes, they WERE all mine. Glee!

I'm currently promising myself that I'm not gonna comment on that....

You know what?
I don't get people who don't shop at the WM
I worked for Sam's Club and got fired wrongly, so I know the evils upclose and personal. But still, I'm po', so WM makes sense.
That said, what's on board for lunch today kids?
I brought grilled lemon & garlic chicken and I'm going to have a sandwich. I also have tostitos and a tangelo.

The fact is, Sam's Club is just that.....it's a club, and therefore cool. You can go to Sam's club and eat a hot dog and look out the window at all the other people and think "I'm a member of Sam's Club and you're not. You can't eat these hot dogs." It's a very good feeling.
Not sure what's for lunch yet.

I wasn't trying to get in to the politics. I really don't have that much problem with Walmart.
The pickle thing just fascinates me. Now I love pickles and I eat a lot of 'em. I would go so far as to say my pickle consumption is probably 2-3 times that of the average person. But y'know-- they're just pickles. Everytime I go to Walmart I saw those huge jars and I always wondered why they were so prominently featured. It's just not the kind of item I envision people getting excited about. Apparently I was wrong.
