It's a movie I know I don't want to see by myself, so I'm waiting 'til the hubby gets off work this weekend so I'll have a shoulder to bury my face in if I freak out. It looks so damn good, 'course it could be a total turd that the commercials dress up, so who knows.

Anyone else looking forward to this?

I'm 50/50.  Everybody's waiting for the twist ending since it’s a ShammaLammaDingDong film.  At least is boasts an impressive cast.  Plus, after the whole “fake-umentary” on the Sci-Fi Channel, I’ve lost some interest.  That being said I’m sure it will have an impressive opening weekend.

Eh, that documentary was supposed to be good--right up until he decided not to be a part of it...who knows, I dug signs and the sixth sense so I'll give it a day in court.

I want to see this, but the bf hates shammalammadingdong.  I might go with his cousin and his cousin's wife.  Or I'll just wait till it's on video and watch it in the dark.

Mixed reviews so far, but cnn's reviewer says it's his best film yet. So I'm looking forward to it...

Okay, the hubby and I really liked the movie. Once again, someone brought their baby into the movie theatre--but this one was pretty well behaved. I think we were in the minority walking out though, someone behind us called it a turd. But it's not like his other movies...

While I was actually watching it, I didn't think the movie was that great. But afterwards, I couldn't stop discussing it the people I went with. So... I like it better now.

I saw it this weekend.  I guess the ending was pretty predictable... but there were times when I damn near jumped out of my seat.  I liked it.  I thought there were some unexpected twists though. Good social commentary. And my bf liked it better than Signs.  He didn't hate it, so that's a plus.

I thought it was awesome.  Everybody in the theater we saw it in seemed to dig it too.

I thought that the cinematography was amazing.  He just shoots some really pretty film.

I thought the acting was great.  Bryce Dallas Howard made a VERY impressive debut in my opinion.  I guess Kirsten Dunst was originally supposed to have the role, but she ended up doing some other thing.  I can't see her in this role at all, so I think that it worked out VERY well.  Adrian Brody and Joaquin were fantastic as always.  William Hurt was great too.  I'd really like to see him get more roles.

I thought the idea was really interesting, from a social experiment sort of standpoint.

Except the two giggling girls that kept running in and out of the theater yelling at each other.

I dug it too.  I hope to see Bryce Dallas Howard more in the future she did really well.  I'm always impressed with people that can feign being blind and pull it off well.  I thought the same of the girl in Red Dragon.
