And added bonus (on the entire US tour):
ARCTIC MONKEYS opening
Some people would not look at that as a bonus.

I assume it was pre-sale that sold out based on what Tayfo said.
Jen is correct.

Well I totally forgot about this due to being away most of the last 3 weeks. So when I checked for tickets today, all that was left were crappy seats way up on the higher level. Had no choice but to get those. The guy at the US Bank Arena box office told me that the floor sold out in 45 min. and the lower bowl in less than a week. I am really surprised by that. When did the Black Keys become so big?
Buying at the US Bank Arena BO did save me about $22 in "handling and convenience" charges....
So who all is going to this show from these boards?

Less than a week!!! Who all is going? Really looking forward to this. Hoping that Arctic Monkeys brings a blistering opening set (with not too many songs from their most recent, shall we say, ok-at-best, album...)

There's always some tickets released at the late hour, but the point is that US Bank Arena will be plenty full, and hopefully will be rawkking!!! We'll be there early for the Arctic Monkeys. Our seats are crap seats in the upper section, but we'll be scooting up close for the Monkeys as likely many attending this will be coming in late.

Interesting show at the US Bank Arena tonight. Had crappy seats but we moved up super-close for Arctic Monkeys who brought a great 50 min. opening set. I will surmise that 90% (if not more) of those that were there had no clue who they were. Comments I heard were along the lines of "do you know who is opening?" That aside, Alex Turner really needs to get rid of that "rockabilly" hair style.
The Black Keys were ok. Strange to see them in arena-style setting after having seem them a number of times in small venues. They came on as a 4 piece (same as when I saw them open for KoL at Riverbend in late 2010), but they did play a set in the middle of just the original duo.
I was there mostly for Arctic Monkeys, to be honest. Still floored that the Black Keys are now selling out arenas. How did this happen?

Good for them. I'm sad that our band has been leaked to the masses, but the Black Keys deserve it. For every band of mine that gets leaked there are ten more to take their place.

was that the biggest mirror ball ever built? stage show was gritty arty cool, live and video projected huge over the band. wish that arctic monkeys had used it, might have made their set more interesting. as it was, lots of energy off the start, but then they really didn't carry that through. they seemed unprepared or just didn't feel the need to go to extra effort. black keys, fantastic high energy performance. i wondered if the band could do such a big show, they proved to be up to it. good song selection, dan seems to have enough material that i look forward to seeing BK play again this summer.
