Nope.  You're not stupid!  The site is just very twitchy.

Being a year late to the party, I'm just now getting caught up to speed. Here's mine, as some of you already know.  Smiley

The only person I know of that really still uses this is Jonathan, and he complains about it pretty much every day.

And by every day I mean twice in the past month.

I still use mine because I'm a nerd who likes seeing how I am listening to music.  However, I really don't keep up on the whole community thing mainly because people in my "network" don't have anything listed any more.  Anyway, Jonathon is just a whiny bitch who is still bitter he was shorted an egg in his Moon Over My Hammy meal at Denny's back in '98.  He would've complained to the waitress, but she looked like she could beat him up, so instead he takes his frustration, anger and feelings of lost potential out on poor Audioscrobbler.

This would explain a few things.

Let it go man!

I don't know who this "Jonathon" guy is, but he sounds like a real ass.  :-

Some of you still use it, at least based on when your charts were most recently updated. The statistician in me loves it. Numbers and charts!

Yeah I still use Audioscrobbler.  I think it's kinda cool.  But I am sick of Jonathan being a whiny bitch about it not working properly.  Ha!

So I now have Audioscrobbler neighbours, and 3 of them are from this board. I knew there was a reason I liked it here. Smiley They would be Jonathan, Fourthisto, and Buzzstein.

(Yes, I posted this over at woxy and in my LJ, but it's less likely to be overlooked here.)

If you're stilling using AS, do you have fellow board members as musical neighbours as calculated by AS and not added by you?

I look at my audioscrobbler page several times a day.  That's all I do with the site though.  I hardly actually look around the site anymore.  I don't like that they've changed the group stats.  They only give you weekly stats now for some reason.

I finally found the update guidelines (from last.fm)

Profile Size   -        New songs needed to trigger update
less than 50   -       5
50 to 100     -      10
100 to 1500     -    15
1500 to 3000     -   20
3000 to 5000       -  50
5000 to 10000   -    100
more than 10000   -  150

Mine top artists are finally updating regularly, but it still only takes 20 songs for mine to update.

Ah, so they've gone back to the old way of doing it. That was a much better way of handling the updates, in my opinion.

That also explains why mine seems to update every hour...because I can get about 20 songs played in an hour.

And my recent tracks are showing up again. (I hadn't noticed that they weren't earlier today, Sonic Boom.)

There is a Randomvillains group in the Website category that Lunar set up. Just 3 members at this point, so no group charts. It needs a minimum of 10 members for charts to be generated.
