It's opening in Chapel Hill at the beginning of June. Haven't decided if I'm going to go see it or wait for it to come out on DVD.

Hey! I hate to be a whore (ok, that is a lie, I love being a whore) but I was wondering if one of you (who had seen this movie) would like to write a review of it for me. You can PM me or email if you are interested.
Thanks!

Saw it tonight...got home about an hour ago. Good movie. The parallels between Spurlock and Moore are obvious, but I'm not sure if they're intentional. My guess would be "yes."
If you want it to be, this movie can serve as a good wake-up call. I had already not eaten at McDonalds for something like the past two months, pretty much as a reaction to all the press about the film. But as visitors to the "what are you eating for lunch" thread know, that doesn't mean I don't eat a lot of fast food. I need to stop that. Hopefully this will provide the kick in the pants I usually have to have in order to do something like that.
It's entertaining, it's provoking. If you're on the fence about whether or not to see it, go for it.

And if you DO go see it, don't do so with a huge container of popcorn and giant cup of coke. You will probably feel very conspicuous.

i thought the movie was good, but it hasn't stopped me from eating fast food. i don't eat much of it--i'm more for the little indie burrito and sandwich joints, but it definitely grossed me out. it was a few bucks well spent when i was in cinci...at least i got my esquire fix.
not much else to contribute. i'm so bored at work i can barely even think.
