Blonds album is much better than I expected.  It's nothing groundbreaking, and it gets a little same-y, but overall it's pretty good.

It sounds like Cults if you like Cults.

What does it sound like if you don't like Cults?

If you don't like Cults, then it sounds like Tennis the evening/night after their afternoon yacht party.

Anyone else going to the free Buffalo Killers show tonight 7 pm at Shake It? Their new album was released today, and I cannot wait to hear it (and see them live).

Nice set from BK tonight at Shake It. I was surprised how poorly attended it was.. 20 people? 30?

Bought their new album, and I'm loving it (listening to it tonight)

It's been 16 years since we lost Rob Collins in a car accident - where has time gone!?!?

I've been going back through concert tickets before 2008 (when i started using the woxy boards list) and putting together one comprehensive list. I wonder how many tickets I've lost and how many show didn't have tickets.

If you are referring to concert ticket cellecting, let me tell you. I have ALL of my concert tickets from when I arrived in the US in 1983. Yea. Stacks and stacks.

Always hated it that the SGH didn't have 'real' tickets for their shows (and hence no "proof" or remembrance that I was at, say, the Strokes in 2001 or Interpol in 2003). <sigh>

Even worse is that I lost my ENTIRE concert ticket collection from growing up in Belgium. I still to this day do not know what happened to that. I suspect my parents threw them out at some point. Those were the days when many concert tickets were really cool "designer" tickets. So I lost my concert tickets of Queen, Led Zeppelin, and many, many others. ARGH!

Hey! We were in the same room together once! (Strokes 2001)
