A new year. A new set of questions.

QOTD
What are you looking forward to the most in 2008?

I have to say that I'm entering 2008 with an unhealthy amount of trepidation, because of a prophecy someone made in 1987. Everything else he "saw" has come true, which doesn't bode well for 2008.

That said, I'm not letting it stop me from going to an 80's reunion in May for the college radio station I worked for back in the day and am REALLY REALLY looking forward to it. Many of these folks I haven't seen in nearly 20 years.

We also have British friends coming to visit this year, and we are planning several trips in the US and abroad, so I am looking forward to that too. And it's my & CR's 10th anniversary. :)

College reunion (has it really been 10 years?), my cousin's wedding in August, taking the LSAT (someone should smack me, I really shouldn't be looking forward to liquifying my brain).

So far, the only big 2008 event scheduled is my friend's wedding in October. Hopefully something exciting comes along before then.

This year, I am looking forward to working the phrase "flip flap & flubbery" into every conversation possible.  And, in turn, most QOTD answers.

If you need help on how to use it in your everyday life, here is a good fictional example:

"The Buckeyes fired Jim Tressel?  What the hell is that flip flap & flubbery?"

OR

"I wish they'd quit with all this flip flap & flubbery and just get straight to the point!"

Enjoy this new phrase for the new year.
