Tonight’s The Night (Gonna Be Alright) - Rod Stewart

I think the number one song that year was Don't go Breakin' My Heart by Elton John and Kiki Dee.

According to my co-worker, KiKi in Tagalog means "CUNT".
Rafe has a new favorite singer!!!!

#1 in the US on my birthday was "Midnight Train To Georgia" by Gladys Knight and the Pips. Now I know why I moved here and why her voice resonates with me so much. :) I even thought about changing my user name to "glad it's night" at one point.

I'm not participating in this. Not just because the number one when I was born may well have been a wax cylinder, but because.......... *sigh*.........

I stood behind a bloody shop counter selling the records that were number one when some of you were born.

And the thought of that depresses me more than you can imagine

You know, it isn't like James Taylor hasn't already wrecked my life enough, but now I find out that "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon was #1 the day I was born?!?

On the plus side, Carly and Paul Simon should get together and start a private eye company.  If only they could think of a catchy name for it...

Apparently, Curmudgeon and C-fan were both born the same time as my little brother... as he told me that is his song too.
