Season 3 of Bojack Horseman is both better and more depressing than season 2.  Which is no mean feat.

I'm torn on how a second season should go. While they left some openings at the end of season 1, it still feels like a complete story. While I'd love to see more from these characters, I'd also love to see season 2 as its own story, perhaps with a connection.

Recent streaming only shows I've enjoyed this summer:

Catastrophe (Amazon)
I just watched the first episode of this and it is AMAZING.
I think I love these impossible-to-love people.

Also, I'm ringing all the bells of endorsement (that's the name of a Jacques Demy movie, right?) for BOSCH on Amazon. I finally bit the bullet and signed up for Amazon Prime just to finally see the second season of this show and it was 1) sooooooooooooooo much better than the first season and 2) the best cop show I've seen on tv since SOUTHLAND.

Is anyone here still watching Survivor?

I haven't missed a season, and absolutely LOVE that show, still after all these years.

Last night's episode was memorable, and then some. Just when you think you've seen it all, you get this....

Here is how EW recapped it: http://ew.com/recap/survivor-season-34-episode-7/

I started to watch this season because I saw that OZZY (my fave) was back. Only watched the first episode and forgot to keep following it. The last time I had watched it was the last time Ozzy was on.

Ozzy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I have no idea if he's still around him. He just gives me a ladyb0ner and I like saying his name.)

well, here's the spoiler from last night: Jeff outed Zeke as being transgender.

I must say I was FLOORED, both by Jeff's incredibly insensitive act, and by Zeke being a transgender (which I would've never guessed in a million years).

The outcry over what Jeff did has been enormous on social media.

I haven't yet seen last night's episode, but reading Zeke's editorial was definitely surprising on both sides of what happened.  Good for Zeke (and the rest of the tribe).

Finished up ATYPICAL on Netflix. Started off pretty tropey, but I ended up really liking it. I'm pretty much a sucker for anything with Michael Rappaport or Jennifer Jason Leigh. Once you add in (one of) the hot dude(s) from LOOKING, I had no choice but to watch it.

Bill from One Mississippi is my fave.
Conversely, Remy is the worst.
