Dense 500-page bio-tome about a haunting, complicated soul. Took all of January to get through it -- not because it was boring or poorly written -- quite the contrary -- but because I wanted to soak up every word of the Southern Gothic tragedy spanning generations well before and after Parsons' brief life. A brilliant read. Worth every second of the time it took to read it.
