Heroes Volume 4: Fugitives
« on: February 02, 2009, 10:11:20 PM »

Now THAT is what I've been waiting for. A few minor issues still, but MILES better than Volume 2 and especially the whole Villains thing. More of the same, please.

How are they considering this a new season?  I call shenanigans.

I don't think it's a new season, just a new "chapter".  They tacked the opening of this chapter on the end of the last episode before the break... which you slept through.

I'm still pissed you didn't say that before.
I remember seeing Nathan getting into the limo with President Worf, but I thought that was the end.

Glad it's not really a season.  Even Monk and Psych recognize that both sets of episodes during the year are just that, parts of the season.

Hmmmmm they just might be back on track.  Like wherle said, there are some minor issues, but it's a lot better than the last chapter...so far.  We'll see where this goes... I'm cautiously optimistic.

Scott you dork, you didn't have to change it :D

We made it through half last night, we'll watch the 2nd half tonight.  What we saw was good.

Good to see Claire is still a moron.  At least she's consistent.  Ugh.

Heh, what's funny is I changed it twice, and the quoted posts are showing the old thread names. :)

Finished the episode last night.  Good stuff.  The beginning was a little slow, but it picked up like crazy at the end.

Why was Peter freaking out about getting sucked out of the plane?  He can fly.  Speculation on the av boards is that he's only got access of the powers of the last person he touched.  Lame.  Interesting now that he's got to touch the person to absorb their powers.  He used to just sort of stand by them to get the juju.

So is that a continuity problem or is that a plot twist carrying over from when they lost their powers?  Why did some people lose their powers, like Hiro, but not others like Sylar?  I don't get it.

Last night was better but I think the story line is still lost in unnecessary and impossible to follow complications.  They need to straighten us out on the confusing stuff, eliminate unnecessary information and get back on track, quick.

Hiro had his powers sucked out by Papa Patrelli.

Patrelli never tried to take Sylar's.

So the fact that his powers don't work as they did before is purely a continuity problem?  Nice.

Not necessarily.
Peter also had his powers taken by Daddy, but he took the shot to get powers again.  Maybe the shot didn't bring his old powers back exactly as they were.

Like I said, unnecessary complications.

In a sense I agree, but on the other hand, maybe we won't have so many "throw away"  characters brought on jsut for Sylar or Peter to get the powers for that one episode.

I don't know.

You can't look too hard at the show or it falls apart.
