I was torn on the neighbor.  MY first thought was that she was a doll.  But then, knowing how much Joss likes to kill characters, I was thought maybe he would juts kill her.

And I REALLY liked the idea of her saying someone was on the inside, because it left it wide open.  They obviously sent her after him, so it could all just be a big plot to make him think there is someone on the inside and back off.  On the flip side, there was the obvious time when Topher wasn't in the room where the imprint could have been corrupted by someone.  I liked the open-endedness of it and the fact it could be used again either way later.

Dirk, I totally agree with your second point!  The next few eps will be interesting!

Did anyone else make it to the finale?  I want to love this show, I do, but it's not doing it for me. I'll watch it if it comes back, but if it doesn't I'll be ok with that too.  I would like it much, much more without Eliza Dushku- I don't get the fascination with her character by the other characters.  She's not that great.

I saw on TWOP the suggestion that would have made the show MUCH more interesting: Echo/Caroline didn't actually get mind-wiped, so she's pretending to be a doll programmed to be someone else.  In the process, trying to bring down the Dollhouse from the inside.  That would have given the audience a character to be vested in, not a blank slate each week.  I cared more about Topher and Adelle than I did about Echo.

I really like the season.  I agree that they shouldn't have pushed Eliza as the "star" as it was much more of an ensemble show as the season went on.  I think they just needed someone to focus the early episodes around to get the concepts out there, and that's what she was.  By the end, the other characters were as important as Echo (similar to how the Buffy gang was as important as Buffy).

I think the end of the season was much better than the beginning, but that is exactly what I expected.  Once they started to get into the actual story of the doll house, I thought it was really good.  Some of the big revelations at the end were kind of game changers.  I really hope they get a second season and maybe Fox gets behind the series, since they just let it rot on Fridays once it premiered.

Are they going to show the final 4 episodes? The last one they showed was the best yet.  Argh! It would have been way better without Eliza being the main character- I much prefer her in small doses. I want to know what happened to Dr. Saunders! And I had gotten to the point where I thought Topher was pretty awesome, too. (In a super creepy way, to be true)

Fox said they will show all 13 episodes this season. Of course this being Fox I don;t know how much faith I have in that.  But at the very least, they should all be filmed so they can be available on DVD.

They are certainly going out with a bang.  Just watched Friday's episodes. Good times, indeed.

I'm glad they got word early enough so that they could wrap things up. I'm enjoying Adelle's descent, and Topher is trying to be redeeming.

These two double-hour mini-marathons have been twice as strong as anything I've seen so far.

Ol' Joss is such a fan of going out with a bang.

I'm just glad those gigantic promos for the thing will disappear from the shows I watch.

The end is nigh!

I just watched season 1's Epitaph One. Dude, that was messed up.

I love Adelle and Topher's interactions in it- they have changed so much as characters since the beginning. Still very confused over what exactly happened, but it's interesting that they are leading up to this apocolyptic world. And Amy Acker/Whiskey is amazing- she needs her own show.

Cannot wait to see how they make next week's final finale match up with that one.
