Yeah.  Same here.
I'm almost afraid to watch it though, you know?  I've built it up so much in my head lo these many years.

The AV club said something like "If it's even half as awesome as we all remember it'll still be worth it" though.

It's officially OFFICIAL
Officially.

Also, Black and Showalter have a new show coming soon.  Though I question why Comedy Central is bothering, they'll just cancel it unceremoniously like they did Stella.

I never saw Stella, but it's up on Hulu.com right now, so I am planning on watching the whole thing this weekend.

I got it on netflix a few months ago, and thought it was fun.  However, watching 4 or 5 eps in a row was not a good idea.  The humor starts getting annoying at that point, and not very funny. In small doses?  A very good idea.

The State is re-airing on MTV2 this week... they are airing it all this week at something like 2 in the morning (in 15 minute chunks no less, odd), and then they are going to start doing regular old-school MTV bits on Friday nights, and I think The State is going to be in on between episodes of Ren & Stimpy and The Young Ones.  From the 2 weeks of program guide that I checked, it looks like The State's regular time block will be midnight-12:15 on Friday nights/Saturday mornings.  If you plan on DVR'ing it, be sure to set up a couple minutes before and at least 5-10 minutes after, because those rebels at MTV2 can't be held to things like "correct start and end times of shows".  They're the DEUCE, bitches.

Dammit, you're never right, but you were right this time Kwyj.

From Michale Showalter's Twitter:

"To all who were fans of "Michael&MichaelHaveIssues" I can confirm that one week ago Comdy Central cancelled the show. Thanks for watching!"

Next you'll tell me that Andy Richter has a new show coming to FOX, which will also be canceled.  This just in, sky still blue.
