Your Top 5 Tunes of the Week, Day, Hour, or whatever
« on: November 29, 2009, 04:10:46 AM »

I've been listening to a bundle of good stuff recently in a very limited time-frame, due to the frenetic nature of making a living and defending Britain from the Axis that is the Norwegian/Chinese Whale Blubber Farming Co-Operative (NCWBFCO - that translates as "cunts" into Welsh).

As you can imagine, there's not a lot of time to sit down and listen to whole albums with all that going on, but these are the five songs flicking my switches today. It'll undoubtedly be a different list by this afternoon.

1. Slowdive - Slowdive
2. Brian Eno - Third Uncle
3. Pharcyde - Passing Me By
4. Pussy Galore - Dick Johnson
5. Hatcham Social - Crocodile

Show me yours, strumpets.

CR, Airport is one of my favourite one-hit wonders of all time. I'll try and youtube it over the weekend. If I remember right, they sported classic haircuts.

4. Shack - Comedy
5. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Tupelo

I need to dig out HMS Fable again over Christmas. Fucking belting album, that!
