Never Let Me Go was a decent enough book - not good enough to make me think that the film will be that fantastic, though. Of course, there are some hottttt actresses associated with it so now I might be mildly interested. But hey, maybe it'll be good?

However, after watching that preview... I don't think I'll be seeing it.

Upside Down: The Creation Records Story comes out in the UK this autumn. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for it to find a stateside release.

Looking forward to that very much. Finally, Matt has let that Irish Valentine bastard out of his basement!

Hopefully Alan Mcgee gets the benefit of subtitles, too. Sweaty Socks need all the help they can get in the subtitle arena.

It's getting close to the new year, so I'll start this one since this poster just came out:

YES!!

For Doug. Nice homage to the original.

Tron Legacy is PG, which means I get to take the kids.  Double score!

I got my tickets for the boys and I to see it Sunday in 3D Imax.  It's playing at the Springdale Cinemas.  I remember seeing Star Wars there when it first came out in 1977.  I'm hoping the boys minds will be similarly blown.

Steve's thinking about going to see Tron on Friday, but I don't think he'll be up for sitting in a theatre seat for a couple hours post vasectomy. It may have to wait until Monday. I've heard excellent things though (and heard the soundtrack is fabulous, but that shouldn't surprise anyone).

I remember when my wife was pre-eclamptic during her second pregnancy and we really wanted to see LOTR: Two Towers.  We went to a theater that had those movable arm rests and she lay down across two seats and propped her head up on my lap and was able to watch the whole thing.  Maybe your hubby can take a bag of ice and do something similar ;)

Try a bag of frozen peas instead.  More form-fitting.

LOL, we're stocked up on the frozen peas so if the theatre management doesn't confiscate them maybe I'll drop him off on Friday afternoon.
