I'm going to DVR Being Human (US version), but I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed.

Did you watch the UK version?

Anyone catch Episodes?

So far I've been pleasantly surprised by Being Human.  I wouldn't exactly say it's rocking my world, but I haven't missed an episode yet.  And the real plots are just starting, I think.

I absolutely love the UK version, so I'm a little hesitant on the US version. They're sitting on my DVR waiting to be watched. Good to know they aren't horrendous.

Portlandia!  A lot of people here would love it, methinks.

Just saw a promo for it yesterday.  Got to set up the DVR. Wondered if anyone here had seen it.

I also dig it. I guess I mentioned it on RANDOM TV THOUGHTS instead of here. I know I posted about it SOMEWHERE. Yes. Dig it.

On a scale of "Ken Jeong" to "actually humorous," I'd rate Portlandia as Ken Jeong +.0000001.

Can't help but to feel bad for Matthew Perry.  I really want him to find a solid show.

Caught two episodes of Portlandia.  Don't care at all for the skits in between the main content.  Meh.

I'm going to give Mr. Sunshine another chance.  That first episode just wasn't very good, however I did really laugh when Allison Janney threw the kid at the clown and sang her song about ethnic kids.  The Matthew Perry line that was something like "Ok, don't start your speech with 'Yay! Black kids' please" was really funny.

That also was focused toward Allison Janney, so I guess I liked her in this show.  I was impressed that Hurley wasn't Hurley.

There were so many gags that could've happened if they ditched the love interest aspect.  I think Andrea Anders was AWESOME in "Better Off Ted", but I think she was horrible in "Joey".  This is much more "Joey" territory so far.

I loved the Coffee Land Harajuku girls and the Dumpster Divers sketches.  Not too hot about the one where they switch roles and the girl plays a guy.  It sorta' creeps me out.

Did anyone make it through "Criminal minds : suspect behavior" last night? I made it through about 15 minutes before I saw something shiny and got distracted. Was it as crappy as the first quarter made it seem?

Outcasts.

They're airing episodes on Monday and Tuesday nights and are up to #4 so far.

It's kind of like Battlestar Galactica in a way, but without cylons. A handful of the characters are interesting, but I keep finding myself disappointed with the storylines. This show could have been so much better.

The pilot episode was good, but then deeply frustrating, and actually kind of a bad setup. Don't want to say more because of spoilers, but I'll keep watching to see if it gets any better.
