Saints basically need one more win for promotion, right?

There's almost no way West Ham could beat Southampton on goal differential without also beating them in points so a tie goes to Saints.

That means the magic number is six.  If they only win one game, West Ham could still beat them by winning out or winning three and drawing one.  If they win and West Ham loses any of their remaining four, it's over.

We could wrap this thing up nicely by Tuesday if a few board members would cooperate.  Brighton just needs to beat West Ham which they should be fired up for anyway since it might secure a playoff spot.  And maybe Posh could... I dunno... rest Joe Lewis and take a look at their other GK options since Lewis won't be back next year.

The Cubs beat the Cardinals today so you know... one hand washes the other, right?

Saints: 12 shots on goal. 1 goal. 3 tremendous saves.
Reading: 3 shots on goal. 3 goals.

Reading were superb in defence. Ridiculously superb. We still suffer from sloppy passing and ball control, simple football basics IMHO.

Today's result for Wham will create the mood for Tuesday's game against Butter's mob.

So, GO Brighton!!!

There goes the goal difference.  I hate Gus Poyet.

I notice you only have five goals.  Are you sure that's enough?  Here, why don't I just kick the ball into our own goal and save you some trouble.

Are they positive there was no suspicious betting activity?  Stewards inquiry, please.

Whoa.  Just saw that Piermario Morosoni collapsed on the pitch and died.  So young.  I even briefly had him on one of my football manager teams but never paid much attention to the real-life player.  This certainly puts things in perspective.  RIP Piermario Morosoni.

You could not have imagined a worse set of results than today's. Other than Wham beating Brighton 10-0. Feh!!

He had an incredibly tragic life, too. Really sad.

If you're all extra nice to me, I can ensure a Posh win over Reading on Tuesday.

Really.
Can we also double-up with a Posh loss on April 17th? Thnx
