I wanted to stab every single character in Suburgatory in the face, in the face, within the first five minutes.  Mercifully Julie turned it off instead of pressing on.
OH NO!!!! I recorded it because I thought I would enjoy it. Plus, JEREMY SISTO!!! Ugh.

Your mileage will vary I'm sure, JS was a glaring exception, I guess maybe I didn't want to stab him in the face but LIT-rally everybody else was extremely obnoxious.

Thank God it wasn't just me that had this reaction. My eyes nearly rolled out of my head at the narration--and I only caught the last few minutes.

I wanted to like it.
I didn't hate it, but I also didn't like it enough to keep on with it

Dear God, yes.  The narration was horrible.  If I was Jeremy Sisto I would have slapped that smart ass kid's teeth out of her mouth.

I have yet to see a new show this year that doesn't suck.

I haven't watched THAT MANY but I've seen 6-8 of them.

Not new, are others still watching The Office?  They've stepped up their game this year.  Last night's ep was particularly good.  Putting Ed Helms in the boss's chair was a stroke of genius.

NBC still has such a good Thursday night comedy lineup, Whitney, of course, excluded.

My money still says Parks & Rec is the best of the Thursday night shows though.

I can see where it wants to go. I'll give it another episode or two to get there.
Jeremy Sisto ain't hurting its chances of staying on my rotation. :)

It appears Playboy Club has been canceled.

The most shocking thing in that article is that bit at the end about Whitney getting picked for a full season run.  What?  Who the fuck is watching that shite?

It was NBC's highest rated new comedy show this fall.  That's what following The Office, Parks and Rec., and Community will do for you.  You have to be REALLY, REALLY bad to fail.  Like Outsourced bad.

I guess she uses her 3-knob gob to full effect?

I knew The Playboy Club would get canceled. Like "Swingtown" before it it was just the wrong side of racy to be on a mainstream - read 'prudish' - channel. It begs the queston why they commissioned it to start with? And, like "Swingtown", I won't hold out any hope for one of the cable networks to pick it up and keep it going... maybe with a little more nudity for good luck.
