Sebadoh? WTF?

Apparently it's true--on Friday February 21, 2014!  I think that's pretty much a must see for me.  I love how MOTR gets national level acts for no cover.  I've seen Jon Langford and Skull Orchard and Scrawl (twice) there.  Missed Mark Eitzel and Freedy Johnston due to work/other commitments.  Keep it up, MOTR Pub!
Ooh, I'm gonna put that one on the calendar. I haven't been to MOTR since we saw Scrawl there several years ago!

I'm really excited to see Good Graeff at MOTR on Sunday.  and even better Good Graeff actually have on their Facebook page that they will be going on at 7.  So I can see someone at MOTR before 11PM!

I really like My Gold Mask, but I'm old and have to be at work at 6:45 a.m. :( Hope you enjoyed the show, TayFo!

I depends on the night of the week, but My Gold Mask started about 10:30 and Tristen ended about 12:30. Sunday nights the music has to be done by 11:30.

The lack of buzz about the Casket Girls coming to town on August 3rd is sickening.

8/22/2014--Bob Log III
9/10/2014--Jad Fair and Danielson

Log is probably the closest thing around to the late Hasil Adkins.  However, I saw Hasil's...shall we say..."different" performance at the old SGH in 1999 and I hope Log comes off better than that.

Jad is currently involved with a record company called Joyful Noise--the name sure fits his music.  Supposedly Half Japanese are going to be releasing their first album in over a decade shortly.  Hope they tour and come to Cincinnati, or at least a nearby city.

I saw Bob Log III at the Monolith Festival (RIP) at the Red Rocks in Denver in 2007 or 2008, and that surely is a performance I will not forget anytime soon. Memorable. I had no idea he was still touring out there. If you haven't seen him, I'd recommend it. But once was good enough for me. Great memories.

Totally unrelated to this or this thread, but my daughter's band Leggy will be playing at the Northside Tavern this coming Friday...

The Casket Girls this Sunday evening (8/3) at MOTR.

Really want to see them but since they won't play until 11 pm or even later, I just can't do that.
