Washed Out - Within and Without

I don't go for a lot of this chillwave crap, but this is a very pleasant listen that doesn't put me to sleep.

Great album, sure to make my best EOY list.

And their live show ain't too shabby either. Caught them at the MPMF here in Cincy in September and these songs rocked HARD live (adding a live drummer and electric guitarist sure helped)

I like a few hooks in my chillwave. Their ep from last year delivers a bit more on that front.

Me likey a lot. I also don't really care for the whole chillwave thing but as this guy basically created the genre, he does it best. It will be in my top 10 for sure and I agree with Euro, his live shows was freakin' funky fantastic.

Not my cup of rock. Nondescript, bland, background music. I'd be afraid to listen to this at work as the boss may find one snoring on the keyboard...

yeah....as i said at woxy, this music reminds me of what you might hear at the beginning of a pretty good show on the travel channel......

although i'm not entirely sure what that means.

Yeah, just gave this another listen, and other than Amor Fati and Before, this doesn't do much for me. As I said before, last year's EP was more engaging. Certainly worth checking out if you haven't already.

This album has been hanging out on my WANT list for a while. I'll probably treat myself after Christmas. Thanks for posting about it!
