ever put a song on these playlists that you kind of do a 180 on?
i thought i liked neight fictive by debby friday/jonathan snipes/clipping, but then i realized there is a LOT of pj harvey down by the water in there, which happens to be a much better song, and now i'm having second thoughts.

also- all my happiness is gone by purple mountains is essentially i'll stop the world and melt with you....

And "Runner" by Tennis (esp. the chorus) is essentially a sped-up version of "This Woman's Work."

Here's a random Spotify-created playlist that I am digging this morning. I have no idea what it's "supposed" to be, but it's lovely to me.

Yeah, that's pretty good! Sometimes those Spotify-created playlists really nail it. There's a classic reggae one that I've been digging of late. It's not perfect (where's Toots & the Maytals!?) but it's got a good vibe. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DXbSbnqxMTGx9?si=tT_2N75fTqulcWvP6uBiJg

I had never the song "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" from Saint Etienne until last week and I foooking love it. I'd add it to the WOXY Users playlist, but since it's from 1992 it feels a little odd to do that.

Instead, here's the Spotify direct link:

That entire album is really good. Also, you should add that song to the monthly playlist.

Also, the May playlist is LOOOOONNNNNGGGG!

[Edit: Not that long...yet. I did a quick analysis of the last 6-8 months and it seems sometimes we get to this long, but that's after the month is over. We still have a third of the month to go! But other months are like 22 songs, so we're well past that. :-) ]
