The Mucky Duck! My parents and grandmother would eat there in the days she went to Florida in the winter.

Ella, the Mucky Duck is a good restaurant.  And definitely has great views at sunset overlooking the gulf.

Cincinnatians, if you haven't checked out the new Belgian Bistro in Over the Rhine, by all means do! Don't be mislead by the website name, they are now open for dinner, and it is fantastic and authentic Belgian (as only I would know on these boards I think)

While I may not be Belgian, I am practically across the street from the place, and I can say they do have some wonderful food.  The fries are some of the best I've ever had and they actually know how to make a medium rare hamburger.  Oh, and the chocolate mousse is to die for.

1. Feta & Pita (Hilliard) -- I really wanted to like this. But the food was pretty bland. And with Olive Tree, Mazah, Lavash, et al within easy driving distance, I just can't see making a trip out to this place again. Maybe if I were out on Fishinger already. But otherwise...meh. 4/10

1) HD Beans: OK, so this wasn't a restaurant, but more of a coffeeshop/bar.  We ate some of their cookie and they do a lunch/brunch thing, but we were primarily there to drink.  Weird, but fun place.  It has a Civil War prison looking man cave thing with numerous TV screens and percussion instruments.  The crowd and bartender were really my favorite things.  Lots of personalities and random conversations with strangers.

1) Cincy by the Slice

This si a new pizza place downtown.  They do by the slice for the drunks, but the also have seating and a bigger menu unlike Lucy Blues.  The garlic knows were entirely underwhelming.  They weren't bad, but there was really no butter or garlic on them, so it was just bread knots.  For the pizza, I got the pickleroni, which is pepperoni, pickles (standard hamburger pickles) and onions.  The pizza was thin crust New York style which I like and the pickelroni did not disappoint.  It wasn't blow away, but I definitely liked it.

I recommend The Godfather (genoa salami, capicola, spicy ham), it's my favorite.

Seconded.

They're also giving 20 people (the first 10 customers and then 10 random people) chances to win free subs for a year at the Dayton location.

2. Winking Lizard (Bethel Rd.) - The beer selection alone is worth the trip... the fact that I like the food and the staff know me and are good is just icing on the cake.
