Very, very cool lineup, but the problem here will be: Conflicts galore. It's only one day, and there are four stages? Ugh.

If you can miss the others playing at the same time, I highly recommend seeing Savages, man. They'll kick your ass, and you'll thank me for it.

Is this the first time the Laneway has come to the US? Happening at the Meadow Brook in Detroit on Sat. Sept 14.  I need to make my annual visit up to Motown to see a friend, so this might very well be it.

Laneway lineup:

  Sigur Rós

  Solange

  The National

  Youth Lagoon

  Warpaint

  Savages

  Phosphorescent

  My Brightest Diamond

  Icona Pop

  Haerts

  Frightened Rabbit

  The Dismemberment Plan

  Flume

  Deerhunter

  Chvrches

  Chet Faker

  Charli XCX

  AlunaGeorge

  El-P

What do you mean "the front row"? I thought this was a general admission festival (that is what our tickets show)
